Pink Slip

Hey Guys! In this post I'm showing you one of my more casual outfits. As much as I love to dress up all the time, it doesn't always fit the occasion. On this particular day I was just walking around with my manfriend enjoying the nice weather and beautiful scenery. You can never go wrong with jeans and V-neck on those more relaxing days. To make the outfit look more put together, I added my favorite jacket.

P.S I'm sorry for not posting at all last week. I had a death in my family and was not in the mood to do much of anything. Thank you for your prayers and patience. Will be posting normally now :) Tootles!

Hey Guys! Remember how I promised to make a monthly list of things that I like? WELL, I have decided to make it weekly! Hey Guys! SUMMER IS SO CLOSE!!!!!! I am SO excited for all the time I'm guna have to spend with close friends and family. Everyone is thinking about relaxation, beaches and parties, so I hatched up this list of necessities of when going on vacation! Hey Guys! Anthropologie is having an amazing sale right now! The pieces above are just a few of my favorites. I recommend you also check out the accessories section because they have some really cute stuff. I love Anthro because their items are just so unique and they have a touch of quirkiness to them. This store can often get pricey, but when there is a sale it's a good one! If you scroll through all the clothes and find yourself with a hefty checkout price, just wait for the items to go on sale (they always do I promise!). Check out the rest of their sale section now!

April, FOOLS!

Hey Guys! It's April, FOOLS! Here is my monthly mix of things that catch my eye. Summer is coming up soon (Most of us would agree that it is not coming soon enough *sigh*) and that means it is time to lay by the water and tan! I've been looking for a couple really cute bathing suits and I really like this one from J.Crew. Also to go along with a bathing suit one needs a cover-up! I love the print on the one above. 

Something that is still challenging me is looking for a casual every day dress to wear this season. All of the dresses I have as of yet are formal and I am really looking for one that I can wear from day to day. I recently (Just now that I am writing this actually) found a couple dresses like this, this, this, and this. I think every girl needs a dress that she can wear any day that just makes her feel pretty. Spring should be a time where you can try new trends or outfits with bright colors and interesting prints. Don't be shy, let your personality shine through your appearance! Be confident! And what better month to put these new concepts to practice than April.

16 Candles!

Hey Guys! I'M 16!!!!!!!!! 
Although Sunday April 7th was my birthday, my mom, my best manfriend, and his mom planned a surprise masquerade party for me on Saturday the 6th. (That would explain the mask I am wearing below) It was such a special event and I want to thank everyone who attended and helped me celebrate such an important day in my life. No one seems to forget their Sweet 16 and I most definitely will not forget mine! I would also like to make a shout out to a special friend who turns 16 TODAY! Happy Birthday Marissa!!!!!! (You can find a picture of me and her below)

 I am so excited for what this year has to bring. New friends, new opportunities, my license, more freedom, more responsibility. I am ready for these things. I am ready to continue to work hard to reach my goals. In a few months I'll be starting my final 2 years of high school. Fortunately, I have a specific plan of what I want to do as a career where I want to go to college. Many doors have been opening so that these goals may become possible and I know that this is where I am supposed to be. I am so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family around me that I know will support me in these next important years of my life. 

Thank you to whoever is reading this. If you are family, thank you for always being there for me and loving me and watching me grow into the responsible young lady I am today. If you are a close friend, thank you for trusting me and laughing with me and seeing me for who I really am. If you are a follower, thank you for keeping up with my blog, you give me the extra motivation to keep making posts. And if you are my manfriend, then thank you for always pushing me to do my very best. I have learned so much from you and I have grown so much since I have met you. Know that my parents consider you to be family.
