Monochromatic Dressing

Hey Guys! WOW! It has been such a rainy summer here in Florida. I'm sorry for the lack of posts but it's because of that same reason, no good time for picture taking! Luckily, it has cleared up a bit lately and I had the great privilege of having photo's taken by my wonderful friend Megan of Focus on Right Now Photography.

Monochromatic dressing can be challenging but looks pretty chic if done right. I chose to do all white because it's simple and classy and added a pop of color in the clutch.

Thanks for stopping by!
With lots of fashionable kisses,
Jessica

Purple Heels

Hey Guys!  My love for heels will never end! These sparkly pumps, which you may have seen before here, are one of my absolute favorites! They always add some extra glitz to any outfit I pair it with. This type of outfit would be great to wear to nice dinner party or semi casual event. Challenge yourself to dress down heels by wearing them with jeans like I did!

Jessica

Day Dress

Hey Guys! Summer days are here again! Casual day dresses are PERFECT for summer because they are so easy and comfortable and you can do so many activities in them. What is also great about these is that woman of all ages can wear them; just slip one on and pair it with your favorite sandals or flats and you're out the door! I am on the search for a few more of these since according to a recent closet check, this is the only one I own. Shocker, I know. Some places I am currently searching are: Anthropologie, Nordstrom, Gap and H&M. (H&M is having a great summer sale right now, check it out!)

With lots of fashionable kisses,
Jessica

Pink Slip

Hey Guys! In this post I'm showing you one of my more casual outfits. As much as I love to dress up all the time, it doesn't always fit the occasion. On this particular day I was just walking around with my manfriend enjoying the nice weather and beautiful scenery. You can never go wrong with jeans and V-neck on those more relaxing days. To make the outfit look more put together, I added my favorite jacket.

P.S I'm sorry for not posting at all last week. I had a death in my family and was not in the mood to do much of anything. Thank you for your prayers and patience. Will be posting normally now :) Tootles!

With lots of fashionable kisses,
Jessica

After Dark...

Hey guys! I am so excited because it's becoming my absolute favorite time of the year, Springtime! Not only is my birthday in this wonderful season, but stores are coming out with many bright and colorful styles and looks. Later on I will be posting some of my favorite spring picks!

I actually had these pictures taken earlier in the year when it was still winter which explains all the black. But I just had to show you these amazing shoes! They are by Jessica Simpson and I adore them! They are so bright and spontaneous, I know I will get some good use out of them. In the spring and summer I will love to pair them with a nice white dress or pants. You will be seeing more posts with these shoes. As for the lipstick, isn't it darling? I love that it is shocking pink and it looks great against medium/fair skin like mine. I can confidently say that I am becoming a lipstickaholic....if there is such a thing.

More posts coming soon :) Happy March!
With lots of fashionable kisses,
Jessica

Hola!

Feliz Marzo!
Con muchos besos estilosos,
Jessica

Turning Over A New Leaf

Hey Guys! Notice anything different?? Thanks to my good friend Marianne, from The Things We Didn't Buy, my little blog has turned over a new leaf! (See what I did there? Haha) She did a spectacular job and I am oh so happy with the design and better yet, the glitter. Also, notice a staggering change in the quality of my pictures?! That is all thanks to my boyfriend and his incredible camera and photography skills. (You can find him here)

Now about the outfit. I love putting simple staple pieces together into an ensemble because it looks classic and it can always be dressed up or down. For this particular day I made this outfit casual by keeping the accessories very simple and just adding some casual wedges. To dress this outfit up you could: add more eye catching jewelery, switch the wedges for nice pumps, and/or add a nice structured blazer.

I hope you like the outfit and the way cool changes to my blog. If you have any questions or comments please don't hesitate to contact me or leave a comment below. Have a great week!
With lots of fashionable kisses,
Jessica

My favorite present from Christmas? This beautiful bracelet from my boyfriend!
Hola!  Notas algo diferente???

Jessica

Pop of Purple!

Hey Guys!
So sorry for taking a while to make another post. As you know, the holidays can get pretty hectic. My family has come down for winter break and I have been having a blast! I hope your holidays have been just as fun! For Christmas Eve I wore this lovely mustard shirtdress with some gorgeous purple heels. You'll notice that on the back of the heels there are glittery rhinestones that make these shoes so unique. Remember to not be afraid to combine colors as long as they coordinate.

I hope you have an amazing rest of your week :)
With lots of fashionable kisses,
Jessica

(P.s. Sorry for the quality of these pictures! But the good news is that from now on my manfriend will take them for me on his amazing camera!)

Don't you just love these?!

Super Sweet 16!!

So this past Saturday I went to a Sweet 16 party. I had so much with my friends dancing and eating and taking lots of pictures! The birthday girl, Ali, looked absolutely beautiful as well!

And about the outfit. I love the bright hue of this dress! The heels are high and have bows which make them adorable. (Btw, these heels are so comfortable. Didn't have to take them off all night!) I also added sparkly silver jewelery that pops against my dark hair and skin tone. What do you think?

HAPPY  THANKSGIVING!

Now to Ali,
You are one of my best friends and you know me so well! We always laugh and have a good time when we are together (like on the cruise). I know how long you have been anticipating the day you turned 16 and I hope it was better than anything you ever imagined! I also hope you know that you are very dear to my heart and you can always come to me for anything. You're the best. You deserve all the happiness in the world. I love you my shopping buddy!

With Ali, the birthday girl. :)

And Starting.....NOW!

Hey Guys!
Starting with the outfit, I love this green blazer for many reasons. It is light and bright and it has nicely placed creases. The shirt I wore under makes the green pop very nicely. I made it casual by adding jeans and some casual pumps. This is a great casual date outfit! Hope you like it!

Now, I know that I have not been a blogger for long, but I am already starting to experience what some of my blogger friends describe as "off days". Sometimes you feel so motivated and inspired but then the next day you may just be like:.... Is anyone actually excited for my next post? Are people just going to blow me off because of my age? What I noticed later on was that I was missing the whole purpose of why I started this blog in the first place. For ME. Because fashion makes me happy. It is something that I never get bored of. And because I hope to one day have a career as a Fashion PR. My blog is like my journal. It keeps me motivated to not quit on my dreams. I know I still have two years before I can really start working towards my degree, but why not get ahead of the game and do as much as I can now. It's the smart thing to do.

Why not start now?

Jessica

Fabulously Floral

Now I know what you're thinking...."Woah she's actually wearing pants again?!" Yes, yes I am. As you know, Florida does not get chilly until around November, but I'm trying to cheat this weather system and go into my Fall outfits a little early. Surprisingly, this outfit did not feel hot at all! This button down blouse is thin enough so that it feels cool, and the pants did not stick to my skin like you would think they would. I wish the camera could truly capture the bright blue and green hues of the blouse which I just love.

I got many compliments on this outfit so I know some people like it, I hope you do too!

Jessica

Cute and Hazardous!

So I was always kind of skeptical about this whole snake-skin trend. Because I feel that if not done the right way, it can look pretty tacky. But these cute shorts from BCBG do it just right!

I wore this cute and casual outfit while doing some errands. And actually at one point while I was walking through a parking lot to my car, this lady almost got run over because the driver and passenger (they were girls, calm down) were starring and commenting on the outfit! Thus the title of this post.

I hope you like this look! Happy Labor Day!

With lots of fashionable kisses,
Jessica

Really Red!

When I was visiting my family in El Salvador, I would spend countless hours at Zara. The prices there were SO LOW compared to here in the US. I swear I must've gotten over 10 things. Yeah, I know what you're thinking...I might have a problem. It's true..but when jeans are $20 compared to $80, how can you pass up?! Anyways, this red vest was one of my purchases! I love the fit of it and the bright pop of red always seems to turn heads. In this outfit I made it my attention-getter piece by putting it against white shorts/cami and neutral sandals. And of course I had to match my nails hehe. Happy Friday!

Cool Yet Fashionable~ What to Wear to an Outdoor Party

So this last Sunday I was invited to a little house party.  And when I was told it was going to be held in the backyard, I instantly knew that with this Florida weather, jeans were a big no-no. So I opted for this cool yet very fashionable look. What do you think? Happy Wednesday!
With lots of fashionable kisses,
